Q. Where is Yogurtini franchising?
A. Yogurtini® is currently offering franchises in a number of states throughout the country. To find out if one is available in your area, fill out the online confidential information request form and we’ll get information to you right away. If you are an area developer, or have an interest in opening more than one store, please let us know.
Q. What does it take to be awarded a franchise, can I have more than one?
A. Our selection criteria includes a variety of factors ranging from your experience (it is not necessary to have food-service experience) to your financial capabilities. More details on this will be provided in our application.
Q. How long is the application process?
A. All applications are reviewed and responded to within 10 business days. Those whose initial applications are approved will be invited to our offices for a face-to-face interview where more details about our program will be shared with you and your questions can be addressed.
Q.How much will it cost to open my store?
A. The initial Franchise Fee is $35,000, and the estimated build-out for a standard Yogurtini® shop ranges from $240,500 up to $435,000 depending on numerous site-specific conditions. We charge an ongoing royalty fee of 5% of gross sales, and a marketing fee of 2% of gross sales. A complete breakdown of the estimated charges is available in the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD).
Q. What are the ongoing monthly fees?
A. The only ongoing fees collected are 5% for Royalty, 2% for system wide marketing, and you are also required to spend 2% on your local area marketing.
Q. What assistance do you provide in helping me get my store opened?
A. We will assist you with all aspects of the design and construction, acquisition and setup of your fixtures and equipment, training and education, marketing and grand opening support. We are also here to provide additional support to you after your store is open. More information on this is available in the FDD.
Q. How long will it take me to open my store?
A. Once you have a site secured (meaning a lease signed and a construction permit in hand) the construction process can be completed in as little as 8 weeks.
Q. What training do you provide me in operating my store?
A. We offer a 2-week training program at our offices that includes classroom training on general business practices, specific Yogurtini® practices, hiring and managing your staff, inventory management, as well as on-the-job training at our corporate facility where you will learn the specifics of how to operate the machinery, and the trade secrets that make Yogurtini® special!
