Yogurtini Founder Blazes The Way For Young Entrepreneurs

1) You founded self-serving frozen yogurt company Yogurtini – what drew you to this unusual niche market?

My sister and I have been frozen yogurt fanatics since we were kids. We were both living in CA but in different cities, we were always visiting different yogurt shops and texting each other when we would find a new flavor we liked. When we would return home to Arizona to visit family and friends we were not satisfied with the choices we had. We had the same idea at the same time, which we often do. So, I wrote up a business plan, we started researching, became yogurt experts after a year and Yogurtini was launched.

Is there any way to get detailed nutritional information about yogurtini flavors? Most of the other yogurt shops around town have them online – thanks!

I have just been to your new location on Bell Rd in Phoenix. Your yogurt is delicious, however; I would like to have the ingredients listed. No matter how healthy the yogurt itself may be, we all as a society eat too many foods that have too high of sugar contents. With diabetes being so prevalent, I would like to know if your yogurt has pure cane sugar, and or corn syrup in it. One or two choices of sugar free yogurt out of 16 is not good enough. I am guessing that that is the case, otherwise you would have the ingredients listed on your website, or have it available in your physical locations. There is another yogurt place that I loved until I found out that there were about 45 grams of sugar and corn syrup in a 10 oz serving. I will be delighted to find out that my assumption in incorrect, and look forward to your response concerning this matter.

Hi Carrie, thanks for your comment. We like to give options to everyone. We always offer a no sugar added and dairy free option at Yogurtini as well. My favorite is a plain tart with blueberries. No fat and lots of antioxidants. If someone wants to add the other candied treats or sauces, that is their option…. the goal at Yogurtini is to make it fun and give the customer their own choice in making their favorite treat.- Yogurtini
